Advanced MCP Plugin by AskTam is licensed **GPL-2.0-or-later**.
It incorporates and adapts code and/or reimplements capabilities from the following
GPL-2.0 projects. Per GPL §2(a), modified files carry a notice of change; original
copyright notices are preserved in the ported files.

## Ported (code adapted into `includes/` under the `AskTamMCP\` namespace)

- **Elementor MCP (free)** — https://github.com/msrbuilds/elementor-mcp
  License: GPL-2.0. Copyright (C) its authors.
  Scope: the free tool set (~234 tools) adapted from the WordPress Abilities API /
  mcp-adapter pattern to this plugin's `MCP\Registry` + `Tools/` dispatch pattern.

  License: GPL-2.0. Copyright (C) Automattic.
  Scope: net-new core WordPress tools not already present here.

## Reimplemented (NOT copied — independent implementations of described features)

- The **Pro** capabilities of Elementor MCP live in a private Freemius submodule and are
  **not** part of this plugin's source. Where this plugin offers similar functionality,
  it is an original, independent implementation written against the WordPress / Elementor /
  WooCommerce / third-party plugin APIs. No proprietary Pro source was used.

Copyright (C) AskTam (asktam.net). Original tool handlers, the MCP server/transport,
admin UI, theme-discovery and WooCommerce/Elementor tooling authored by AskTam remain
AskTam's copyright, distributed under GPL-2.0-or-later as part of the combined work.
